Welcome 2 my Showcase!
Been making photoshop art off & on for a few years now, though i am still amatuer at best... i think i am getting better though... This thread is mainly to showcase my abstract bg's & sigs i've made for myself and for others... most of the sigs i am displaying in this thread were personally made for me or as requests for other forum members. So, sorry, but unless a sig is marked as "Freebie" u can't ask for or claim it... Though i will have sigs that u can claim, and i also will be taking requests for new personalized sigs. The details are explained at the end of this post...
I'll start off by posting some of my fav's of my sig collection, with a brief description, as well as some abstract BG's then i'll make a few other posts with some others both new & old as well as some extras here and there, like avatars...

just a couple DeathNote sigs i made for myself... nothing special...

as u can see, i'm a fan of pop-out sigs... the yoko one is in png cuz if saved in gif it loses a lot of it's quality... though i have a 3 part one jpeg/png/png that i use when i use it as a sig, so its smaller in size but doesn't lose its quality...
Freebie: Up For Grabs! (u can claim either 1, once 1 is claimed the other becomes unavailable...)

practiced a little more blending and effects in these... made the yellow one originally, but then lots of peeps on another forum busted my chops on my choice of color scheme, so i revamped it, and came up with the 2nd one...

hmmm, i think the FMA one is my best blend job so far, imo... i like the whole effect too... the naruto one came out nice too, made it along with a few others as freebies for a friend of mines site...(the naruto one that is... the FMA is mine.... my PRECIOUS!!!)

Requesting sigs displayed on this thread...
As i've said, a lot of the sigs displayed here, were personally made for myself and/or as requests for other forum members... Though, there are sigs on this thread that u may ask for and claim. These sigs will have "Freebie" marked above the sig, and if available will also read "Up For Grabs!" in green. once they are claimed i will mark them as CLAIMED! in red... also, i may feel the need to "test run" any of my freebie sigs, if i am doing so i will mark that sig with Test Running in purple...with your request u may also ask that your name be placed in the sig in place of, or in addition to any text already on there...
Requesting NEW personalized sigs...
On top of the sigs displayed through out this thread that are available, i will also be taking requests for new sigs... If u would like a new sig, plz either post here or pm me & include the type of anime & character, size of sig, color scheme preference, text & any extras wanted... its best to also provide a pic, since i do not have a HUGE supply of images. Once u have requested your sig, plz be patient, it can take a day or 2, or even a couple weeks depending on how busy i am.... also, i ask that u plz keep your requests within reason... i am not a miracle worker... and fyi, I DON'T DO ANIMATED SIGS... least not yet...
My Abstract BG's...
All my bg's are up for grabs... i post them here for both myself to use and anybody else that may come accross them... It would be nice if u could let me know which ones u plan on borrowing, but it really isn't necessary... u only have to ask to use my sigs.... Also plz don't claim any of my BG's as your own... thats just rude.... thank you
About my art...
I do most if not all my work on adobe photoshop.CS, i usually focus on abstact, i make an abstract bg for my sigs first w/o thinking of what render i wanna put in, then when the BG is done, i choose which render would best mesh with what i just created... I usually do all my abstract work from scratch, sometimes i follow a tuturial & sometimes i just do random things till i get something i like... Some of the tools i most commonly use are the gradiant tool, smudge tool, magic wand, clone stamp, the filters tab, and layer blending... lately though i've been blending my BG's with other images i find on the web... Scenery mostly, like gardens, oceans, sunsets, etc.... i say the most annoying part of making a sig for me, would have to be choosing and blending the text... i can never find the perfect text to mesh with my work, and my text blending is horrible.... still i do enjoy learning new things in photoshop and i plan to eventually start using Cd4 and imageready to help enhance my sigs...
alrighty then... that's it for now, i'll post some more stuff later if this thread gets some attention...

(also a note on some of my old sigs... i was still new to sigs and forums, so some of them look a bit off when viewed in darker color skins... especially the pop out ones... but i've gotten better at compensating for that... plus i've uploaded a lot in imageshack back in the day, so some of u might not be able to see them or get the little yellow frog, but i don't feel like re-uploading them somewhere else, and editing each one... : / so oh wells...)
