I miss all the old dos games. They used to fit on a floppy disk . . . back then when computers only had a floppy drive :P

This is to play games that seem like they run too fast on Windows or don't run at all but use to work fine in old school DOS

Well you can only play some hentai games but if you still want then you can play old hentai games via the pc98 emulator at [Only registered and activated users can see links]

we need some who is into progamming to hack the games and good japanese gamer who are good at translating japanese to english without grammar being killed.

alas too many people compare old hentai games to new games, come on without the
classic you won't get no hentai games.

for those who don't know
you can create shortcut in "sendto" folder to make play game easier(you only need to right click your game and choose your dosbox shortcut)

You should download and install the Windows VirtualPC. This will run DOS, Win3.1, Win98 and WinMe as a second OS under Windows XP and Vista. Kind of like the way that Mac's can run Windows XP. BTW: Its Free for now!

1 don't install virutal pc, trust me you'll regret it (there's so many security exploits with it)

2 use dosbox as that's what it was made for, and even top game companies like bethesda support it (infact when bethesda offered a free download of arena, they choose this "emulator" as the best in terms of emulation), but please note guys and gals that you will still need to underclock your pc for some old dos games like comand and conquer and dark sun as computers run faster now then what they use to, and some older games aren't use to this speed (it basically looks like the games are running on fast foward the whole time), i'm not going to post a solution to this, as this can differ for each computer, but it will take alot of trial and error to get anything right

p.s. if i can remember how i did it, i will post it, but when i first put dosbox on my computer i changed soemthing in the variables so it would auto start/install any old dos games i had (like i could actually play them on my xp, just by clicking there .exe, i didn't need to start dosbox everytime), it may be automatic now, i don't really know because i still use like the 3rd or 4th version released

This is to play games that seem like they run too fast on Windows or don't run at all but use to work fine in old school DOS

The problem is the way some older DOS games did timings. To work you need to either slow the computer cpu down or make the game think the cpu is running slower.
