Anime sketches.

Hello everyone, im new to the forum and kinda new to the whole otaku scene.

Ive always liked drawing and doing artistic things.

Heres some little sketches i have in my book at the moment.

Ill post up some serious photoshop work once i get a graphics tablet(i cant use the mouse thingy on my laptop)

I draw just about anything so if you would like to see something in particular let me know and i may draw it if i have any free time.

Yea i like that guy too hehe, i laughed as i was drawing it.

I dont do it for a living but i would love to if i could.
I love drawing, i wouldnt say this is my best work but its what i have uploaded at the moment.

Im just a bored teenager who has nothing better to do

I will try my best but i think i will do my best when i get a tablet so i can do it quickly on the computer and colour them in.

i have a tablet here, but its really hard to draw from. i also have mangastudio too and i cant use it to save my life! lol... it's really hard!

talkin bout ur drawin......I dunno wat 2 say........u say itz anime, but in my eyes it lookz like a mixing of anime and cartoonic style, sometimes the cartoonic style dominate, and sometimes the anime style dominate in ur drawings..........

Yea. I understand what your saying.

I should have made it clear that i draw more than just anime/ manga.

I draw "everything" from graffiti style illustrations to fine art.

I just didnt have alot of my anime/ manga to post up in a thread so i just added a few other things.


All this stuff is almost a year old, some of it is 2 years old lol but right now my style is very different.

The hard part is deciding what to draw.

Do you find when you use it that the pen arrow moves about un naturally? When its viewed on the moniter?

I used to have a crappy tablet last year and i used it on my pc. it worked fine.

Then my PC broke and it was months before i got a laptop. I used the tablet on there and it was all over the place.

I gave up in the end becuase it was to much work and i was getting frustrated over it!

i agree with you totally there. i paint canvasses and stuff, and i love drawing anime and painting anime, but i also do fine art. im currently working on a painting for a client who wanted a portrait of their baby grandson. its taken me a while to do cos i cant get it right. but i deffinately agree about what to draw.

its hard to find inspiration sometimes. and when there isnt any thing that particularly invigorates ur imagination its hard to get anything at all!!

yea, I also have the same difficulty like u........often I experience question, wat the hell I want 2 draw??

u say fine art, so do u good in canvas paintin/real life paintin??? I do it once, drawin a realistic palm tree tat takes me 8 hours 2 finish, from 9am-5pm :<
the other realistic ...........skull man!!! lolz

but lookin at ur drawin and ur style, I think u better enter the multimedia/graphic design school, who knows u can get a good career in these??

or else if u are a damn patience guy, take animation/game design lolz

coz all of tat course require a drawin hobby and good drawin skill

your art style is really nice. I have nothin else to say except i see your drawin as a level above mine.

I also have a wacom. Take some time to practice but after awhile you will get used to it. The way i use it is that my hand will only function within a certain portion of the drawin size, the rest of the time, i'm movin the picture so my cursor is within range.

Great drawings. I wish I could share mine but I don't have a scanner. I also drawn a couple and I also made three of them on the walls of my room but as much as I have tried I don't have a very steady hand to draw using a tablet (even though I bought one and have manga studio)

By COM do you mean computer? best things to use i would say is photoshop or painter.

Can you draw entirely on your computer? I don't know if it's my tablet (the cheaper the better :41: ) but no matter how much I try I find it impossible to draw anything even though I'm quite good with a pencil and an eraser.

i could if i was to use a tablet, i cnat draw anything using just the laptop touch mouse thingy, it does my head in.

Im best with using a ballpoint ink pen, i dont normally use pencils unless im in college.

I try not to make mistakes in the first place but if im doing something serious, say for college i would mainly use a pencil.

It looks good, i would have gave her black hair and made the dress more subtle though.

Are you going to do some shading on it? Thats the thing i cant do without a tablet, gaaaaaaahhhh!!!!!

Usually i don't want to mess whit other ppl work, but this one caught my eyes, (that's a big word by me) so forgive me but i cleaned it down a little and made it bigger.
Now we only need to color it professional... its a great pic from a great drawer. :)

i dont mind you using my pictures just as long as you let people know who did the lineart.

Ill post some more up in a week or so when i get time from school and then we can see who colours what which way if you like.

I've never tried a tablet myself, but I think just by looking at them that it'd be hard. I kind of need the lines down by the pencil to see what I'm doing. If I were to look at a screen while my hand moved out of my line of vision I'd probably do horrible lol

I know what you mean. I just can't draw anything using my tablet (even though I'm quite good with a pencil). The only solution is scanning a drawing of mine and improve it using the tablet.
