are these games compatible with vista?

I'm trying to get a new computer but I have some games I concerned weather or not they will run on vista here's the list..

silent hill, let's meow meow, guilty gear X2, halo, grandia2, FF7&8, metal gear solid, mega man legends, half life 2,gadget trial,

sonic heroes, perfect cherry blossom, F.E.A.R and an abundance of downloadable games can someone help me out?

I use Vista and haven't had any problems with older games, I played Starcraft not too long ago. Games like FEAR should work fine as well.

HL2 works on Vista.

FF7&8 need a patch to run properly on Vista (Check Gamespot)

Halo 1 & 2 work on vista.

halo works like shit on vista,,even if your sytem is a monster..its just so ....Slideshow...--ish...hahaha

Ya just have to fiddle about with some of the settings,
Like master user or w.e. its called.
Only problamatic game is diablo 2.

halo works good for me... i use vista.. there's no problem at all...
just make sure to install the service pack 1 of it...
and try to change the compatibility mode to xp in the properties if there are problems...

Vista killed all old games and software. It's just the idea of the software and hardware producers to force you buy more and more new stuff.
