Take a look at this Animation - Is she Spinning Clockwise or Counter-Clockwise
Note: "Clockwise = Left to Right" & "Counter-Clockwise = Right to Left"

If she is Spining Clockwize = You use Right side of your Brain more often.
If she is Spining Counter-Clockwize = You use Left side of your Brain more often.

You can see her spining both directions also, but you have to focus ur mind ^.^

Umm, it doesn't really stop at all, that pause is when you focus on the other side of ur brain, which causes a lagtime in the recognition of the direction.
the Animation is set in one direction actially, but the mind perceves it as the other direction at the same time causing the illusion which tells which side of the brain you are currently using.

Mine shifts from left to right very ofte, but i can focus prety much at well very easily myself ^.^
