Whats your opinion of it?
Which is your fav?
Well I've seen Saw I, II + III and thought that they were ok as a set.
The first one was genius and is the best of the three, the second was no way near as good,
I found the third to be quite enjoyable and to have a good twist.
I haven't seen the fourth one yet, has anyone here seen it? Is it any good?
I plan to see it anyway, just for the conclusion, so don't give too much away.

Naa, Blood and gore in Live action movies don't appeal to me, but if it's anime with Blood/Gore, then it's awesome ^.^
Only Blood/Gore Live Action Movie I really liked was the movie "300"
Body parts Flying everywhere ^.^

Well the gore is the flying body parts...
Never say there isn't gore in 300, because there is a hell of a lot of gore going on in 300 ^.^

i think that the SAW movies are boring and that the person who thought of them is really sick.

The Saw series really needs better actors >.>;
..and the shock ending at the 1st one was good..but they keep on trying to go over-the-top with all of the sequels..."trying" being the key word. Now the endings are getting worse every time IMO.

The 1st movie was plain AMAZING!
All the others fail on a epic level, they lost what made the 1st one so great.

I saw the first one and wasn't particularly impressed. I admit I can't really remember what happened in it so I might borrow it off a friend and watch it again. The only thing I can remember about it was that it was just full of gore.
Actually I think there were some twists in there somewhere that I thought were quite clever.

The 4th Saw film was ok. They should end it already. They're kind of taking it to far you know? How many more sequels can you make before the whole premise of it becomes dull?

I love the first one, its really freak me out with its pycological crazy sick thriller. Little bit dissapoint with the second and third series, its just too much blood and blood with less thrill.

Just . . . so . . . laughable.
I appreciate for a whole crop of 'horror' fans, Saw is the series that gave them their first real taste of it. The Friday the 13th of this decade. But seriously, how worthless is it?
I guess no worse than a killer that can't die, or a guy who kills people with his razor claws in their dreams.
No, wait, it actually IS worse, because it pretends at realism, whereas no one actually thought that Freddy or Jason were actually plausible.
But I don't want to sound like an old fart, but if I could think of a decent American horror movie from the past 4 or 5 years, I'd post that, just so I'm not like, "Movies were better back in my day, when you could take your nickel down to the local movie theater and get yourself a ticket, with change for a bag of popcorn with real butter! *shakes cane*"

Saw1 was very good and original, Saw 2 was alright, Saw 3 was utter shit, and Saw 4 had a bit of redeeming value in it tying together storylines.

I like all of then except 4 which I believe is totally unnecessary. I mean you killed the killer the end no more. I liked them not so much because of the gore but cause the of twist plots and unexpected endings. I mean come on who expected the ending of two? But watch the movie twice and you see that there were hints the whole time. Also the third one. The way how the seemingly unrelated characters by the end is discovered that all of them have some ties with each other is just brilliant. Also the message it gives to the viewer (other than bring your own barfing bags to the theater next time ;p) is excellent, if you had the persons that you believed were responsible for something that happened to you about to die, would you saved them or let then die? Just brilliant. It's the way that uses extreme gore to lure people to see it. that looks cheap in some people eyes.

I only watched part of the first one. It wasn't scary, it was disgusting. I'm just not into senseless and realistic acts of ultra-violent torture. Not that I don't enjoy watching people who deserve what they get having karma come for them, ie Jigoku Shoujo style.
