Think Garageband for otakus. This Japanese software suite lets you plug in lyrics and melody and generates an "authentic-sounding" song via its music and vocal synthesizers. As you can see above, the software features a 16-year- old "Virtual Singer," which croons out whatever disgustingly sweet (or just disgusting) lyrics you enter in (Japanese only, we're assuming). It's so popular in Nippon that it's actually the #1 selling software on their Amazon. And for good reason—the songs they generate actually sound like it could have come from a generic teenaged anime. no, you don't record anything, there is already the voice library (700-800mb) of Hatsune Miku... you just edit what she should sing like (re - ne - ga -de -so - u - lu) in different tone pitches... and then save it as wav file... then somehow mix with background and video in an other program...

Saki Fujita (藤田咲, Fujita Saki?, born October 19, 1984) is a female Japanese voice actress from Tokyo, Japan. She also sang the ending theme to the anime Tokimeki Memorial Only Love, "Kiseki no Kakera", along with Yuki Makishima and Yukako Yoshikawa.
