Yeah the good old Pokemon games for the Game Boy. Why you asked? Pokemon Yellow for the Game Boy was the first game I played in my life. I was during the time when pokemon was all the rage at my place.

I still remember trying to catch all 150 Pokemon lol [Now there is 300 ++ Pokemon?]
ah... the good old days. and guess what..... i just started playing pokemon emerald now *looking at stares from people* What?:XD:

Anyway... so what you guys think about pokemon games??

i like the good old ones better than the new ones. like yellow, blue, gold, silver, such n such up until emerald. everthing after that i hate. even the leaf green, fire red, n such.

why u ask?? cuz those new ones r too damn slow.

I remember playing the Red Version back in third grade (before it was popular) and those classic games were more or less my life >_> I still sometimes hear the background music playing in the back of my head when there's nothing else to distract me. The new set of pokemon for Diamond and Pearl just seem really lame to me. It's like they were grasping at straws for something new and just couldn't do it. Also: don't get me started on the newer console ports of Pokemon :@ everything after Stadium 2 is just money grabbing and not really adding anything of value to the series.

too bad the lvl 100 teams u made in the original red & blue cant be swapped into the new games
i got bored of building the ultimate pokedex in my pearl game
takes wayyy too long to trade all ur pokes over from the advance games

Ive played all the old one's.Pokemon Yellow being my favorite.Fire Red was ok.Pokemon Pearl kinda got boring after I beat the elite four.I cant remember if it was Pokemon gold or silver I played,but it was ok as well.

All the them were good up until emerald, ruby and Sapphire in my oppinion, not including fire red and leaf green because they were also entertaining, i just think they should have stopped with the joto pokemon.

Everyone seems to dislike ruby, emerald and sapphire. Well they only thing that i dislike is the Poke Block stuff. Though I hope that those versions allow you to travel to Kanto & Jhoto. What do you guys think? Anyway my sis says that the new Pokemon looks like Digimon (woot) and its not as cute as before lol. I have to agree on that though.

The old versions like red, blue, yellow, crystal, silver (all those from the Gameboy Color versions) are much better than than the new ones. They are quite easy and straightforward to figure. The new improved versions for the GBA like ruby, sapphire, fire red, leaf green are still quite good although there are a lot of improvements and changes made in the game such as various kinds of bikes etc. The newer ones like pearl and diamond for the ds are kinda boring now because the pokedex is quite hard to use. Maybe it's just me that hates the new versions, i guess.

I played only because everyone else around me played. I love playing with or against people, so when everyone brought their gameboys to school to vc each other, that was pretty much the only hype I got from it. It doesn't matter what the game is, I will play with or against anyone for hours on end, anything by myself just gets boring too fast

they were good at the beggining, but the storyline now its a bit repetitive and boring, also the new pokemon in the pearl edition sucks

I love the games. The anime went a little offbeat, especially after the voice actors were all changed. But, as long as the games are there, I'm happy. :]
