In term of story i like FF7, 10 and 10-2best.

For the battle system and stuff i think FF12 is the best so far, eventhough some battle could take more than a hour (which is pain in the ass) >.<

FFVII was by far the best to me it had an awesome story and it was good enough to get a movie made after it, 8 was also good but as for 12 to be honest it was kinda gay idk i just never really got into the story i guess

Well about Final Fantasy XII .... I gotta say I love the fighting system. The detailed environments. Different weather in certain places. Music was so so. Voice acting was excellent if you asked me. One thing is hate is that Vaan practically looks like a side character..... he doesn't seem to be involved in the story and he was just tagging along with Ashe and the gang....

The only reason FFVII was 'good' enough to have a movie made out of it is because there are just a bunch of fanboys of it. I mean, it wasn't a bad game, but it was flawed.

Personally I like 10 and 6 the most.

12 could have been WAY worse. It just gets repititive is all. And bosses shouldn't take anhour if you are 'Quick.' Lol, I love bad puns.

I like all of the FF but specially FFX and FFX-2 And FFXII
The older FF have better stories but they are lack many other things,

I start FF7 and quit after few hours, Play FF8 and have replay it at least 5 times, Play FF9 and quit after Disc3, Play FFX and replayer it at least 2 times, Play FFX-2 for few hours and quit, Play FF12 for few hours and quit.

I couldn't careless about the rest, If its not turn base, more likely that i don't like it. I know FF7 is turn base but i can't be bother anymore.
Look forward to FF13 and hoepfully its turn-base.

Mog is the bomb...
They made him way too powerful for the game...even in advance.
I did everything in both except max out my stats in VII and get every one of Gau's Rages and Strago's Lore's. They happened to be my most underused characters, whereas mog was my most over used.

6, then 10, then 8 for me.

Didn't like 7 at all. 9 seemed blah. I played 11 for like 3 years! But ultimately left the game because of the usual problems associated with MMORPGs. ^^;

7 was the best imo, 8 takes 2nd place since it was pretty tight. then others kinda sucked. (only played a few of them) but 10 was RANDOM, 11 was mmorpg, 9 had animal/human hybrids (i found freya strangely attractive for a rat), X2 just sucked, never played 12 =(

i prefer FF7. FF7 has some outstanding features like limit break system etc. Some of the side quests are pretty fun too. FF8 was fun but more towards romance than FF7 and the limit break system was not as fun as 7 although there are some new features. Played FF12 a while at my friend's house but it was quite boring although the graphics are outstanding.

man I have to say 11th one was fav for me man that game we go waaay back elvaan 75/samurai 75/monk on midgardsormr that games battle system i like a lot + the class soo much classes 2 choose from the most worst thing ever was the party system always gotta find people to lvl with it made the game hard for many people but when they added a lot of system to ff12 that also became my fav also so 11 & 12. not 2 mention it had good story and one of the best PVE game also the environment was beautiful music +++++++ awesome game. FINAL FANTASY 11!!!!!!!!!!!!!! dreams of vanadiel!

VI i can't really say specifically, but it's good
VII is great ok
VIII i really like the modern setting and the 'college/student/military' atmosphere in it, plus the characters
X has a cool atmosphere
XII is kinda cool i guess but it feels different... atmosphere thing again, lol

I have every main line FF title, and personally I've enjoyed them all. Well except 11. I bought 11 but I've never acctually installed it on my computer. The whole MMORPG thing just turned me off.

...well VI was really good with the story but the only thing that I did not like about it is that there was no "main character" that it centres around...I understand that this almost makes it unique among the Final Fantasys...I just kinda found it weird while I was playing it..

I would put VI at the top of my list. A lot of people disregard the ones before VII, but VI was the first one I played and it still remains my favorite.

X is probably still my favorite though. C'mon...a badass ghost...a cute thief...a mean blue brute...an evil-though-still-sexy black mage...a dude that should be in Shaolin Soccer...and an innocent white mage. Done.

My favourite FF is obviously the VII :beautifu2: it is just too great the story was incredible.
My second favourite one was the X :wakuwaku: i just loved to boost my characters with the spheres.

The only FF games I've played are the ones since VII. Out of all of those I think VII's got to be my favourite. FF VIII I thought was great and IX I only started to like after I took a break from it for some reason. X is probably my second favourite but X-2 I thought was rather disapointing. I never played XI because the monthly fees scared me away. I also have XII although I haven't played that for a good few months. It's good but I just can't seem to get into it as easily as the ones before.
