I think all this Signup to post leaching problem is really being a strain on the server...
I have some topics with the "HIDE-REPLY" feature so the person has to reply to see the topic, but the only ones that ever hardly reply have like 1-5 posts at most, then they leave the forum, never to return...

I think creating an account to take just a few downloads and leave is a real pain. Especially with the Bandwidth of the servers, because it's almost all wasted space...

We should set post limits for all the leachers, like having like a 25+ post limit to enter download sections or something like that, becasue.

I even just had a post on my "Ikkitousen Dragon Destiny OVA - 01 & 02 & 03" topic just saying they just joined to download thoes files... [Here is link ([Only registered and activated users can see links])]

That just seems like a waste to me...

Well, it is hopeless since those leecher can spam, we need to give them uploading work like those who
maybe they go and upload stuff that is not found on this forum, those who have create 10 contributions thread. number of posts, do not count.

maybe we do a rule that user cannot reply on a thread three times, doing so will lead to 3 days banning.

Yes, but the 10 post limit is too low. Do you know how easy it is to spam and quickly get 10 posts perhaps less than 10 minutes.

I too, think that there should be a limit to the downloads sections. More leachers just simply join, find the stuff they need, and never come back.

Most of the people who replyed to that thread that ElderKain had posted has less than 5 posts =/

Whats hgeeks?

But, I doubt that more than half of the members will want to become active. We have 17,546 members. And only 7,383 of them are active. And what I believe, a lot of that 7,383 members are leachers that come probably every day in search for downloads.
