Arika I've been thinking, we get so many leechers and people that sign up purely to beg higher members to ask if they can share their rapidshare/megaupload account.

I think we should just ban all talk about it.
99.9% of the time a person will change the password and take the account for him/herself.

Not to mention theres tons of members with just 1 post begging "pls plss I need to download lots of pr0nz from MU and RS can someone lend me their account".

I think it would be fair just to ban the talk of them, and just give people a friendly warning and a No.

If they aren't smart enough to use Premium Link generators or other means of premium like happy hours and MegaManagers etc etc. Then they shouldn't be trusted to higher members accounts.

I am also in favor of banning all talk about it. I too find it a little annoying when i see leechers asking higher ranked members for their accounts.

I mean seriously, if they are not smart enough to find the many other ways to access the premium downloads on MU and RS, then they are pretty dimwitted.

yeah I agree too. I have premium acc from earning points, then convert to the premium, I feel to do by that way is much easier than asking other people.

taking a neutral perspective on this issue, id say its unfair for someone who paid for a premium account and have a large number of ppl use it, show little gratitude and then never come back to forums. i know i cant contribute much at the time but i dont like the idea of taking advantage of someones paid account. if u cant afford it, then use other means like happy hour to satisfy your needs.

Regardless of whether the topic is effectively 'banned' or not, isn't "account lending" already a bad thing in the first place? (and not only for the reason that people could change passwords and affectively lock the owner out of his own account). Not like highprofile members owe anything to random leechers in the first place... You'd think such kindness would at least be rewarded in some other way than password changing, at the very least...
