Very Irritating 'Stop Script' Or 'Continue' Pop-Ups.

I've noticed since even before I joined this site in order
to start posting and what not that this site has either
SO many adds trying to pop up, or something else
unforseen, that is causing my FireFox to constantly pop
up a window asking me to 'Stop Script' or 'Continue'. It's
seriously like every 20-30 seconds. Or 10-15 seconds.

I don't know what it is that is causing this as this is
the first website I've come across that has ever done
this to me. EVerything else about the site seems
to be fine:people's upload links, thumbnails, pics, ect.

Help? I like this site enough already that I'd continue
browsing and posting but with this MAJOR thorn
it's really pushing my patience to even remain on the site for more
than 10 minutes...these errors in the website are causing
my machine to completely stop all processes until the
popup has been answered. Any ideas or answers?

I recall something about that poop up stuff only appears to unknown rank maybe one more up but i am not completely sure.

And if it writes out that the "firefox cant load the page graphic file or something" then that's problem is on your side. I to had once that problem... my connection was overloaded that's why it wrote it out for me.

My connection isn't overloaded, and I don't understand
what the rest of that statement means...

Sorry i try it simpler...
adds only appears in lower ranks... ranks are decided by post count 30,200,800,1500 ect...

I don't think adds are the problem. Stop Scripts is something
completely different.

We'll see if anything happens at 30 posts as I'm now at 21.

I think it has anything to do with ranks.
Try installing Adblock Plus add-on if You don't have it yet. That should fix the problem.

i have this problem too but not as frequent and it usually happens when i open too many windows or tabs...

I don't have an add block and still don't get any poop ups...

That doesn't mean it wouldn't fix the problem. ;)

While javascript enables useful things like one click to use emotes, spoilers, etc most pop ups and ads are generated using javascript, so turn it off, however this could cause a few problems with other stuff
