It would look better (and be less annoying) on the top of the page instead in the middle of it.

Yeah, would be nice if you include something to hide it. I don't use nor care to much for twitter. Twitter has more spam than any social type of web site I've used..

Anyway, disable or hide feature would be awesome when you can get around to it.

I like it , good idea in theory but I can see how this would annoy people who have small res screens but I don't see this getting in the way of the majority of ppl , good job ^^

I tried to stay as far away from Myspace, Facebook, and the worst of em all...Twitter
But it seems it has found its way to an anime forum
Well thats my personal opinion
Im sure alot of people like it so it IS a good idea for keeping members happy and more in touch with each other
It makes the site that much more interactive
But I agree that there should be a disable button for those who will never intend on using it...just to be fair to everyone
Personally it really doesnt bother me when Im scrolling through Niho...its just the thought that does XD

I think we're all in agreement that a disable feature would be very appreciated. I would love to be able to disable it, since personally I have absolutely no interest in Twitter. But continuously complaining about it now is pointless. I'm sure after reading this thread so far, the mods get the idea. All we need to do is give them some time. Hopefully they come up with a solution everyone agrees with.

aw come on those last two had humour, and i know these things take time and im not saying get rid of it as some will like it just simply asking for the choice to not use it or in my case see it at all. end of story, the first reply was you can't turn it off. what she should have said was theres currently no way to turn it off as yet. like private messages can be turned off this should be similar option as that.

That's what I'm saying. This situation can be easily solved be adding a disable feature to the Twitter widget. But complaining about it at this point wont get us any farther.

I agree with the majority here. I NEVER used anything like Facebook, tweeter, etc. and I don't intent to do. The only thing that can be sort of similar is MSN, but even there, MSN isn't really like Facebook, tweeter, etc. So I would like a way to disable it, it would be very appreciated. ^^ ~~nya
