Hi Everyone,

Yesterday we updated the gallery to a new enhanced custom version.

New future:

Profile look within "my account"
Aliases was added

Special thanks to Lozertuser for many of these bug fixes

Bug Fixes

Forum topic gets automatically locked after submit
Pagening didn't work properly on pages greater then 10
Notes didn't work probably
account changed to $site_url3
permission changes, moved links
page bold number shows number correctly instead of $i
clean of images dir for checkout.
group permissions, adding groups etc are fixed. Menu navigation added for these pages.
fixed comment removing count, default allows anonymous comments.
fixed sorting and forcing white space trim for tag section
alias fixed for good. Counts work corr
spaces being added in tags no longer are added in edit and post adding
Aliases work and posts are updated when one is approved
fixed create_db and 0.1.1x info
alias searching fixed, menu for reported fixed up, updated admin layout create_db fixed with active default value. edit post tag count fixed for aliased tags to prevent doubling count.
tag history updated

We are opening our first invitation to uploaders who would like to upload HQ images, by HQ we mean the quality of the drawing not its size, looking for images around size 400-600 kb max no more than that. Type of images, always looking for a whole body pictures, images that shows the character's full body not his head cut off or his arm ect..

Banned images
CG from Eroge games, they all look the same and repetitive, nothing creative about them, although some are but not always. Guru, shota, extreme loli, and extreme images are banned.

If you like to help please apply here that you want to help and pm me the follow:

-Samples of the type of images you can upload and their sizes, [200-600 kb max, no more than that for a single image]
-You profile link in Niho chan
-We also may give you referral sites that contain HQ images that you may browse and upload the unique ones you see only.

We have the right to delete any image we see it violating any of our standard rules. We also have the right to take you out of the uploader group if we notice the images you uploaded are not quality images.

Future update: we are working on creating scripts dedicated for manga readers where you will be able to browse and read your favorite Manga online. However this might take a while till it gets released to public.

@ ninry, you can ban specific tags through my account option but there is no option to censor the whole gallery.

And 600 Kb might be hard for some of the better HQ or res images even with save for web.
Here are some of my random image sI found that looked good for quality.

HQ High Res image ranging from 1024x768 - upwards of 12000x10500 and up.
I also have some smaller HQ images.

A thought. I do not know if this can be done, but would it be possible to put an image in a spoiler.

I am thinking of images of manga or anime characters which could give away a future event in an ongoing series. The label could just say something like "From Bleach 9945" or the like.

Phazer, some of these image sizes are huge and they aren't hq drawings in my opinion at all, pm me to give you more detail. or look at the gallery to get an idea of hq drawing.

First Trial for uploaders will be accepted tomorrow, that means all the users that pm me their application already , their trial phase will be tomorrow, and will see if they would be niho chan uploaders or not, depends on the images they uploads. We are looking for the quality of the drawing, and how unique it might be not by size of the image.

If you want to become an uploader, pm send me your application with sample images of what you can upload.
