These analytical "graphical" reasons make me laugh.
Anyway, I vote for Nitrosan's sig : the BG is beautiful! The render, although not particularly original, is soft, clean and expresses well the "happy" feeling that always characterizes Kirby. Also, the sig is quite soothing, without too bright nor too dark colours.

I vote for Vanesinger.
1. A nice vector as you would expect from vane
2. It's clean and not crowded with effects
3. The choice of bright colours and a the colourful addition of the rainbow suits the atmosphere that one would have when thinking of Kirby.
4. Text is ok, not bad but not great either, still it looks fine and doesn't draw much attention away from the focal.

And that's pretty much all I can think of to say.

On a different note @Konradz - agreed. some "graphical" reasons can be amusing.

Also, the sig is quite soothing, without too bright nor too dark colours. Symbols and emblems are what gives us anonymous users a recognizable identity. Kippy could have had anything else than the communist symbol, as long as it was violent, well known, and not pejorative. I'm not pompous enough to make my own emblem.
