i vote for number 6.

i wrote some considerations in the spoiler below. but before you open and read, please keep in mind that it's subjective. most of the siggies here are really good, so it was very hard to make a decision. after considering each one, i decided to make an analysis based on balance, color, tagline, crop and borders.

on a personal note: i have a problem with the crop, i know. it's a subjective matter and profesional defect. heh...

and again, please don't feel upset and don't hate me. i have about 16 years of experience regarding visual arts, just in case anyone wondered.

5. ok, nice blending. nice use of colors and a good tagline. but i don't like that the upper eye of the dude on the left is cut. gives a creepy feeling towards it. but it's really good in the rest.

6. well, i do have a soft spot for black and dark red. better choice of bg this time, yes. even tho there's not enough blending of everything so to make a whole, i find the blood on the left creepy enough. tagline good, too.

16. hm, very nice. good blending. nice use of colors. but i don't think that the tagline fits with his expression. anyway, that aside, it's a pretty good sig. the upper brush seems to pierce the guy's head. tho.

17. nice and simple. good colors. quite clean and subtle blending. tagline fits in well enough. but then again, the upper crop bothers me. either cut his entire finger off, or just leave the whole hand in.

Tough choice,

between: Sempai-Kun, Happyumi and raverx9.

I chose SK because I liked the colors. and the mish mash of abstract. From an artistic point of view, the idea of that guy looking like he doesn't want what the females trying to give/get. So the mish mash of abstract feels appropriate as his probably trying to be ignorant but can't because of the distraction. ^^

I chose Doki?, I thought hers was well made in terms of photo editing. Lots of effects were used that complimented the character nicely. And for some reason using "Smexy" got to me XD.

Honestly though YourWaffle and HappyYumi came in a close second for me.
