Need interesting yet easy to understand manga

Hey all.

I'm currently taking japanese and want to supplement that by reading manga (in japanese of course). I've been studying for two years now and have finished "basic" japanese, putting me somewhere between basic and advanced level.

Some of my favorite anime are Gundam SEED, Samurai Champloo, Last Exile, Cowboy Bebop and Clannad.

With that in mind, for those of you who have read manga in Japanese, what is a manga with a good story that I could understand (75% plus)
I have a feeling something like Clannad would be the best route because of the simple dialogue and easy vocabulary.

Also as a side note, I'm currently in Japan so acquiring a series in Japanese shouldnt be a problem.

These are nice, easy, funny manga's that I recommend. Good luck finding them in Japanese though, since the translated versions are more popular.
