I really hope Jiraiya doesn't die. Even though all the signs lead him to dying, id be pretty upset. I'm a bit disappointed by Kishimotos choice in killing off Jiraiya. In the past, Kishimoto was very good at character development, for Jiraiya they made him a stereotypical perverted old man, with just enough development to make him likable just before killing him?!?! I'm really upset by that. Especially since jiraiya trained naruto 1 on 1 for 3 years?!? They could have easily made Jiraiya a father figure in Naruto's life. I really wish itachi would put that hurting on sasuke, Sasuke bugs me -_-

hmmm, as of now, this thread is kind of old since the topic is about current events related to naruto.

anyways, well.... i saw it coming. i didnt get my hopes up by hoping jiraiya was gonna live, besides i sort knew it was coming just cause it would give naruto more incentive to train harder.

at least it was a cool death, got to see yondy and jiraiya finally got his "epic" death, sort of like what the spartans in 300 always wanted, an epic death. lol, more like wishful death, (jk).

Ehh, I think the current plotline is genius. Making Itachi martyr like? Brilliant. Having Sasuke completely turn around his life and avenge his brother? Also brilliant.


And his new eyes are pretty. ^_~

Noooo! I miss the dark/evil Itachi who killed all his familly, I prefer that he stays the enemy and not a gentle one who saves his village and his little brother...He lost his...style? I don't really know how to say it :/ But he gave Sasuke pretty new eyes :p

I felt like that at first..but then I was like Aww. What a great storyline.

Yes, his eyes are amazing. I can't wait to see what they can do.

I personally prefered the good Itachi. Proves that you don't have to be a villain to be a complete badass.
