There are shows that have summaries which trail off to nothing, but this one lays everything out rather nicely. Yuki is a high school girl who was attacked by a vampire ten years ago, but subsequently saved by a vampire as well. Now, she acts as the secret keeper of the group of vampires at her school, as they have renounced their vampiric ways. However, her childhood friend hates vampires, as they had taken everything from him. Hmm, so what happens if these coexisting relationships were to collide? Btw, Yui Horie is voicing Yuki.

I actually prefer the manga. The anime isn't bad but it's not terrific. It couldn't keep my interests and I gave up on the series half way. My friends seem hooked on it. They couldn't stop raving about the series so it must be me.

i watch the first season they could done better with some of the story and it felt more serious than comedy but im looking forward to the second season

The official Japanese website of the Vampire Knight manga series has announced that the second season of the anime adaptation has been green-lit for broadcast this October on the TV Tokyo station.
