Nihonomaru Rules

This is a forum where rules are important so I expect every member to take sometime and read over these long and boring rules. I don't like rules any better than you do but remember, you're not the one having to type it up. (At least skim over it and look at all the bold words.)

General Forums Rules

1. No Flaming. This is the same as profanity except it is by mean directing it toward someone on purpose. Please avoid this at all cost. If it's really necessary where it's killing you softly, then do it in private message (ie: pm) or OUTSIDE the board. Once again, if you have a problem with a member, talk to a staff member. This is also because flaming usually starts off a civil conflict, and no one wants a n00b/lolzer war here...
2. Spamming. Spamming is basically where people make useless posts that is irrelevant to anything... this of course is highly irritating as you do not need multiple posts in a row to make your point nor making useless comments (ie: double/triple/quadruple etc posting is not allowed.) If anything happens, just go back and edit your original post. Sometime it's necessary to spam in order to bump a topic and we understand this, but please bump a thread only if it's inactive after a full week. If the reason is not good enough, you will be warned. To report spammers use Report Spammers thread in the Site help section.
3. Discrimination. Racism, sexism, and any other kinds of degrading discrimination are shamefully frown upon. If you have a problem with certain differences whether it is culture, sex orientation, or gender, etc... keep it to yourself as no one need or want to hear it. If you're found to make an offensive slang term or a rude remark pertaining any kind discrimination: you will be suspense or permanently ban depends on the circumstances.
4. Spoilers. Keep spoilers in check as we have anime/manga talk forums. Some people might not be up to the point you are and vice-versa. For your safety use the spoiler tags accordingly, if you fail to even make a warning, the fan of whatever series you're talking about might rip you to pieces. Also oversized high quality pictures should be posted using a spoiler tag, to keep the forum clean even if the forum resizes it.
5. Hentai Content. Hentai is only allowed in the Ecchi Plaza section. Also, Loli hentai is forbidden, but ecchi or dressed loli is allowed. Just like rapping hentai is forbidden as well, but totally. The Ecchi Plaza has its own rules that can be found in its section.
6. Signature Rules. You're allowed to have at the maximum 2 signatures. Maximum total size is Width 500px / Height 300px. If you want to put more in your signatures, use spoiler tag: . Also explict hentai content is not allowed, but ecchi. Please keep it clean.
   
7. Requesting. Any download requests must be done in the Request Section For Graphics requests go to the Artistic Beauty Request section. Also members are only allowed to post requests if they have 30+ posts.
8. Maru's Clubs. The owners should add every member in the first post of the Club Thread, and any person who's registered in this forum can join clubs. Hentai content is not allowed at all.
9. Posting an anime in the download section. You may create a thread with the anime preview pic + preview + download links. Please follow the rules in the announcement which can be found in every section in the Downloads Section, in order to post an anime/hentai/manga/etc in the downloads section.

Member Guidelines

1. Courtesy. Show your fellow members the courtesy they deserve and avoid getting into fights/conflict as much as possible. If a member is being rude to you, ignore them or talk to a staff member and get it resolve. It's really important that we get along like a good family should!
2. Respects. Respect the staffs just as you would for your elder or sempai; they are your superiors... period. If the staffs however, mistreated you then report directly to me, I'll do whatever I need to do to solve this issue.
3. Profanities. Profanities are indeed allowed, and you can absolutely use it everywhere, anywhere! However it is highly frowned upon so please control your language. There is also a large distinction between saying "That's fucking awesome!" and "Fuck you!" - remember to be courteous at all times. You don't need tainted words to get by in our world, or as playstation put it: Curse in your world, be eloquent in ours.
   
4. Privacy. Members are not allowed to make threads where it involves in showing his or her images to other members (which means that any other picture is fine as long as it doesn't have you in it. This is because our site allows lurkers, it would sure become troublesome if they are to exploit your privacy.
5. Direct Linking. NO! Bad! Direct linking or hot-linking is one of the most horrible things you can do to an individual. This is where you take an image directly from their site and post it on the forum for everyone to see. This method of linking will eat away the bandwidth belonging to them and them alone. If you want to post an image, upload it to Photobucket and post! Although we do not encourage hot linking but if a member came to us complain about someone else stealing their links, we won't be responsible for this action, and u better deal with that person if u can't, sorry we can't help it. We can't babysit random people on the net that decides to leech/steal links. So don't spam the staff pms to complain about someone else stealing your links.
6. Users' Content. This is important, please do keep your avatars and signatures as clean as possible, yaoi and yuri are certainly allow but make sure they are not to the point where they are savagely ripping each other shirt off while on sexual romps; this goes for straight couples as well. Also make sure you read the signature rules up there.
7. Multiple Accounts. You don't need several accounts, one will be enough. If it's really necessary, PM or IM me and we'll see. (We have your IP# so be very careful.)
8. No Linking to other sites. Linking to other forums, boards or competing sites is totally forbidden.
   
9. Posting a picture. You can use any free hosting service website, as in tinypic.com, imagevenue.com, photobucket.com, etc. Please note that many image hosts will remove hentai/adult content - if you want to post that sort of thing, we suggest ipicture.ru.
   

I know that was a lot to read, but this is a literature-based forum. Do your best to follow the rules so that NihonoMaru will remain a great place. Also, the most important rule above any other is to have fun! This board was made for your entertainment, so enjoy it and make sure not to abuse your privileges.
