You won't reach shops until you've clobbered a few bees and/or frogs. Make sure to level up before you go after frogs

Edit: This changed 7/25/07...there's now a little "shop" in Slempik Pasture.

Where do I find attack skills to buy? Magic was easy to find but I couldn't find any attack skills, also, how do I get pets?

Edit: Nevermind, I found out where you can get a pet. But I still don't know about attack skills.

What do the attack areas (head, torso, arm, leg) help with?

I once tried attacking different spots but I didn't notice much of a difference.

Is there a limit to the amount of levels a spell can get?

Ima go experiment with these weak spots. You might experience some weirdness until I get it right. :th_SadPuppyEyes:

Some spells have a limit, maybe around level 10. Some don't have a limit.


Edit: 7/14/10: Several monsters now have weak points.

...and the Shield of Willow spell now only takes 9 arcane.

Will there be a way to just cast a certain level of a spell instead of having to only cast the highest level of it? Or did I not look hard enough?

I don't think that's possible in the game. I don't have a way to enable that kind of behavior. :crap:

I took a look at enchantments through an Admin Demo by the developer of the RPG system itself. How do the spells work for the enchantments? Do they use the caster's MP? Do they use the magic level that the caster has? How about the level of the spell itself?

You mean if an enchantment causes a weapon to cast a spell when it hits? I guess it must use the weapon-holder's magic level. I don't think they drain the weapon-holder's MP (based on what I remember about setting up and using such enchantments before), but I could be wrong. I'm not sure whether or not such spells can level up, I never tested that far. There's an enchantment in our RPG now, but you can't see it yet lol (Soon! Soon!). Then one of you high-level players can tell me what you find out.

By "soon" I mean in the next 24-72 hours. I've been setting stuff up; but it can't go live until it's all set up properly.
