Okay ... I know I'm posting very late but let's hope, that for the next people who want to watch the movies, this post will be useful.
First of all I've seen that everybody complains about the archives that don't work. Try with total commander. Just select the first archive then press File>Combine Files. It should be very easy. The second problem seems to be about opening the file. Try installing K-Lite mega codec pack and it will certainly work with media player (for windows users) That's all.
