Finally got my Grails today (after ordering them in August)
![]() Nyu and Nana: Lucy and Nana without "papa's ribbon" (sorry 'bout the glare): Made by Wave/DreamTech, here are the boxes against the Newtype double sided centerfold(s): There's a few more pics at my BlogSite, but instead of the (boring) main link, here's one to my "Lilium" Portal page I found courtesy of the awesomely talented Celestial-Star site: http://www.unbound.org/portal/div6/portal.html The photo album's reached from there, but there MIGHT be more there than you bargained for LMAO (If you go it's likely to be kinda lame for anime old-hands as most of the places I've told about it aren't up on anime. I'm kind-of enticing them in if I can LOL The rest of the Site aside from the Blog isn't anime-oriented, just fair warning. And the "Anime Page" link is dead for now, so don't bother -I've yet to do it heh.) Hope you enjoyed ![]() Last edited by Ahasuerus; 02-24-2008 at 07:43 AM.. Reason: editing, duh |

The figures are a good way to keep the series "living on" after it's all over ;-) |

That's actually how I got into anime LOL Saw a Kanu figure that was great-looking and so picked up Ikkitousen; was going to watch it but then someone recommended Elfen Lied and I was totally blown away! I watched the whole thing in one sitting LOL

^ Yeah, the figures are pretty spendy. I ordered these last year but can't afford any more at all (unless they release more figures from Kanon).
The whole presentation is what made EL succeed in my book. From the box art to OP to backgrounds to character designs and dramatic effects... just an awesome piece of work. It's what I show people who still think anime is "kid stuff" heheheh... I love to see their jaws drop! |

yeah i remember showing the first ep to everyone at a LAN years back, bunch of wow. and i agree the whole thing was made of win, well i didn't like the manga much... but that doesn't really matter compared to the epicness of EL.

Faeyice, thanks for that image; I had no idea that Yu-gi-oh had any EL cards. But then I don't know much about them anyway heh. I see mention of a Nana card as well; how many do they have?
