Gustav Klimt series on the cover - this enough to be considered a masterpiece.
I am very warm attitude to the anime, as we all somewhat similar to these characters:)

Most likely not. In manga, she ends the lives of suicide. It is unlikely that the authors of the series allowed her to survive.

Great anime indeed. Love all the gore and violent stuff. Just wish there was more.

this is my favorite anime. i've had those scans for awhile and been meaing to turn the kiss one into a poster to hang up with my klimt poster of the same name, which the elfen lied credit art was based off.

Interesting. I'm a few episodes in, just started watching it ... not sure if I really like it yet or not, I kind of get annoyed when series anime's include a lot of cutsy goofy stuff like this one has so far. But, I definitely need to give it time, seems like a lot of people here love it. :P
