Favorite classic anime?
Just out of curiosity, what's everyone's favorite classic anime?
Classic being before the year 2002. Mine has to be Devilman(the 1972 anime). |

It's a three-way tie for me between Ranma ˝, Urusei Yatsura, and Kimagure Orange Road.

I am of the opinion that the quality of anime dropped quite badly the past few years, so in my opinion there are currently better 'classic' anime than modern anime.
With exception of Full Metal Alchemist (2003), Kimi ga Nozomu Eien (2003), Kita E (2004) and Monster (2004), my favorites are Fruits Basket (2001), Hikaru no Go (2001), Whisper of the Heart (1995), Infinite Ryvius (1999), Saikano (2001), Scryed (2001), Slam Dunk (1993) and finally Hack/Sign (2002). |

Im a sucker for old, classic anime. Some of my favorites are Kimagure Orange Road (1987), Touch (1985), Maison Ikkoku (1989), Voltes V (1977), Voltron (1985), DNA^2 (1992), Ah My Goddess OAV (1992) and Neon Genesis Evangelion (1995).
