The black widow - the world's fifth most poisonous spider - was found by nine-year-old Harriet Barron in a fruit bowl at her home. Don't you mean fortunately? Black widow is one of the most dangerous spider. Its not only very deadly but aggressive to boot.

uhhh slightly put it to you this way i live in iowa tho there not a native species they do make it into the state mid to late summer.

my rl buddy got bit by one of these he was put in intensive care after 45 minutes of exposer to the venom and his kidneys and liver along with his vital organs shortly there after now he walks with a limp because he went into anaflactic shock because hes allergic to the venom which he had anti venom administerd and went into convulsions.


had it bit that little girl she wouldve died very VERY easyly.

btw the guy im talking about was a state known swimmer who was very good at what he did in shape ran 3 miles a day fit as a horse and then WHAM that bit him down south. i luckly wasnt there or i had prolly gone on a rampage...

Sounds true enough, it is possible for a Black Widow especially the Females to be able to kill a little girl or boy. But I don't think that happens most of the Adult cases.

Black Widow spider's venoms can't really kill a Mature Person, in most cases anyway. Unless they have an extreme Allergic Reaction to the venom that can result to Shock, or Vital Organ failure, then yeah.

A Black Widow spider's venom is kind of a Neurotoxin that can circulate through a person's Nerve System(once it starts spreading) and can cause Extreme Pain in muscle groups in the body. Symptoms would be Muscle Cramps/Pain, Migranes, Feverish sweating, Head-aches, Dizziness, Hypertension and Hyperventilation. Not as deadly as an Australian funnel-web spiders which can kill its Victim within 15 minutes.

could easily kill a young child ive hered of it happening it the colorado area i think it was.

and most adults wont died yes unless allergic which does happen, the brown recluse is more of a problem around my area then a black widow
