Story of novelist Lynn Lauber. Pregnant as a teen in late 1960s, author was pushed to give up her baby for adoption & live as if it never happened. 25 years later, she reunites with her daughter. Short NY Times piece/confessional has touched a nerve--among many women who apparently were similarly pressured into denial & now want more.
