Why do some people have coloured names?

And how do I know who the admin(s) is/are?

Welcome to NM. The Forum Leaders Page [[Only registered and activated users can see links. ] should have all the staff members on it, but you can easily tell because they'll have some title or another under their name which will make it pretty obvious.
