Perhaps but then i have the problem of getting a dvd player that will play the dvd as well. Since most anime dvd's in aus are region 4 and dvd's in jap aren't it makes it difficult. I had a dvd player that could play both sometimes. Other times it just wouldn't or it would but the screen would tear a lot and the sound would screw up >_<

Yes, different regions is a problem... But buying a DVD player is a only one-time-expense.
