but except for unplugging the thing, all was about software manips. meh. whatever.

next, go look at your internet connection in local area connection and note down ALL the settings. then make new internet connection using the internet connection wizard thingie. then check on internets again using new connection. but! if you usually have two of those connections enabled, and they are different, you gotta redo the second type of connection also. one should be LAN, other one depends on the provider.

if that doesn't work either, before giving monies away to change cable and whatnot, call your provider. they are paid to help you. it might be a problem on their end, so nothing you do will work. anyway, tell me how it goes, i might have some other ideas depending on progress. gl.

read that thread u made for the internets, but is all chaos in there, no wonder it won't help.

first you gotta see if the network card is fried (or other equipment), but since you don't have spare parts, best is to unplug everything and replug it, i mean into the power outlets. that is hardware reset.

next, go reset that network card: in device manager, disable then enable back the card. restart computer.
