Well, you might be right for some. Lucky Star and Haruhi really don't have much.
However, like Clannad or so... Have you ever watched Clannad or maybe Shuffle?
Those are two quite decent animes with nice plots. So, if you have some spare time, you might want to check them out. They're really great IMHO.

Haha... well.. I dont like them because.... Well... I think it lacks "plot"... And action.. That's why i'm not a big fan of series like Lucky Star, etc..etc... Shoujo/Harem animations too... I watched To Love-Ru ... its funny etc.etc.. But I didnt even watch the entire series.. Just saw up to epi 20...something like this.. and watched the last episode (26).
My favorite style are ( as I said ) violent ones... Well not necessarily violent, but with lots of action and with a more mature "atmosphere"..... Like Demon City Shinjuku, Wicked City, Ninja Scroll, Hokuto No Ken ... etc..etc..

Well, if you have any rational reason for disliking those kind of anime, then, I think, nobody will seriously offend you (except some braindead idiots)...

Seems your liking in terms of anime differs vastly from mine.
I like very few shounen anime. Like Death Note and Baccano!.
But apart from that ... not much.

I prefer anime like Clannad and Lucky Star. I mean, how could you resist those cuties ^^

About the Martial arts... Yep!... I am a person with self-control... but Martial Arts certainly helps us to improve it.. Its not only phisically good.... but spiritually as well...

Hmmm.. My favorite anime ? .. I dont think I have one... I like many animes... But the animes I enjoyed the most so far were: M.D. Geist , Genocyber, Hellsing Ultimate, Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni, Guyver... Hmm... I guess that's all xP... Oh... Claymore was also nice.. Though It didnt "grab" my attention as much as those did...
