Hey nobody's saying anything more, If this keeps going this great club will die

All I Can't Say

There are so many words I cannot say,
when I look into your eyes.
I want to be able to tell you one day,
but I'm left speechless every time that I try.


You must have stumbled across the key,
and discovered so much more.
You found a hidden place in me,
you found my heart and opened the door.
And I cried in pain
of losing my dear friend.


Will it ever be the same again?
If it passes will it be the end?
I realized it was worth so much,
as I lie in bed that night.
So I allowed my soul to be touched,
without even putting up a fight.
Are my eyes deceiving me,
when I see you standing there?
Are you playing games,
just to prove I care?


You speak my name in a prelude,
in a reference to love,
with such loving attitude,
as if it were a message from above.
With the palms of your hands
pressed firmly against mine,
a white doves lands,
and the sun begins to shine.


Someday I will see,
though that day has not come yet.
You'll say you love me,
but will you ever forget?
If that happens and my spirit dies,
if my emotions drop,
will you want to hold me when I cry?
Or will the love just suddenly stop?
We can't expect to fall in love and never cry.


You'll stay and play your part,
but after the beauty starts to die,
will your footprints still be on my heart?
Though it would be hard to say goodbye,
your friend I'll always be,
as long as we always try,
to keep the friendship between you and me.


The letter I will not send
will casually inquire,
how could you have brought it to an end?
I was your one desire.
After this life is over,
you'll be one person I know I'll miss.


It'll be too late to start over, and so I leave you with this...
I'll hold you for a lifetime,
if you'll just hold my hand.
We could have a wonderful time,
in the days we have not yet planned.

heres my poem, I just finished it. It doesn't have an official title yet. hope you guys like it.

In the dim light of the morning dusk
yet another day weighs in on the weary
a lowly worker descends into the over crowding masses
but an insignifigant cog in an evergrowing system
cascades of emotionally burning flesh
I believe those before me once said it best
each day is like an eternity of dying

as the day progressed, a new cog is introduced
blissful and unaware of the dispare that would induce
but the lowly worker only pittied the newcomer
for any sense of compassion he might've had, withered with time

time passes and the working pace subsides
the lone worker makes his daily departure from the sect
as he finall reaches his forlorn destination,
the glow from within a small cabin catches his eye
he proceeds to turn the knob with a deep sense of anticipation in his heart

out from the light steps a little girl, so innocent and full of life
she embraces him with a warm hug, and gently says "Welcome home papa"
in that instant, all the fealings of painful agony and dispair faded away
and with tears of joy a flow, the man uttered "Yeah, I'm home"

Excellent poems! I' am really impressed by such work. I've been afraid to show my poetry due to it not matching the quality of all of you're poems.

I had a thought too. Perhaps if I saved all the poems that each member submits here and create a kind of "archive" that I'll use for on my second or first post. Hmmmm....

Only By Sight

The sight of darkness
Breaking the lush form in our senses
Evil seen by eyes
Manipulated through touch of heart
Free to move under thumbs
Never tac the innocent
Instead push down on senses

Deceive the eyes
Cause the pain
Senses burn
The eyes are blind forever
Darkness is the only thing felt

Touch darkness
Speak against
Still gain pleasure
Eyes are gone
Only by sight

That poem is a description of part of the circle of life. Defining the truth of peoples actions against each other and becoming blind to not be able to see the truth of the pain they cause against one another.
