Wonder what could have been

Love wanders on a road alone
Headlights flashing past
Lighting the way and then disappearing

Those lights have gone and left
Leaving me in a road of loneliness
As darkness covers my vision again

My piece of mind has left me here
Gone somewhere I can not see or hear
Only you can lead me there
