This is the first RP of the Gotei 13 club. For those who wish to join the RP, please first join the club and choose a character.

All general discussions on the Bleach series should remain in the Gotei 13 club.

General Rules:

1. No acting as god: Do not control the characters of other people without their permission. Minor actions like facial expressions are fine, but do not control their every move. Furthermore, do not exceed the limits of your own character or do the impossible.

2. No unnecessary sidetracks: If you have an idea for the story, then great! But try to keep it to yourself or suggest it in the Gotei 13 club. Do not suddenly change the plot, as it would only confuse everyone. Keep with the group, and if you feel like a change is warranted, then tried to take the lead.

3. Follow the general rules of Niho: This includes all rules on language, images, and respect for each other.


General Suggestions:

1. It might be easier to coordinate everyone if we all write in a story like style. Your actions are told by normal sentences and your spoken words are in quotations. Thoughts can be in quotations as well, but italicized.

2. If you have to say something as yourself, not as your character, put double parentheses around your comment. Like so, ((your comment here)).

3. Do not be afraid to post suggestions. This is my second RP, and the first one I organized. XD


Overview:

Hollows. Human souls who lose their hearts to despair or grudge and fail to cross over to Soul Society. The emptiness of their existence eventually collapses the soul on itself, driven by an insatiable hunger to devour other souls. That is a Hollow.

The job of a Shinigami is to slay these dangerous Hollows with their Zanpakuto, and in doing so, cleanse them of their sins as Hollows and allowing them to be reborn in Soul Society. However, the Zanpakuto cannot cleanse the soul of crimes committed while living. If a soul committed unforgivably heinous crimes as a human, then the slain hollow will not be allowed to enter Soul Society. Instead, they are sent through the Gates of Hell where they suffer an eternity of damnation.

However, even the Gates of Hell are not impregnable...


Unknown and Unnamed Entity:

The deceased soul of a mass murderer, turned into a Hollow from his hatred and bloodlust. Like most Hollows, he was eventually slain by a Shinigami, and for his crimes he was sentenced to eternal damnation. However, an unprecedented event happened as his soul passed through the Gates of Hell.

An echo. A mere echo of his powers as a Hollow remained after his physical being was dragged down to Hell. Not a soul, not a Hollow, not even a real existence, just a simple silhouette. Over time, this fragment of power absorbed the surrounding spiritual energy and grew, regaining the form of a Hollow, but not its soul. It remained an empty husk, driven by murderous instinct and hunger, hunting down and devouring other souls.

As it lacked a soul, it could not be purified by a Zanpakuto, and could not be sent to either Soul Society or Hell. Upon being destroyed by the various Shinigami it came across, its power scattered, absorbing more spiritual energy as it reformed and growing even stronger.

Eventually, it powers grew to the point where it can transfer its being into another soul. As it has no soul of its own, it fuses itself with the one it possesses, taking complete control. Thus far, no one who has encountered this being has lived to tell the tale.


In Soul Society:

The Shinigami are being briefed about an abnormal amount of Hollows being sent to Hell rather than being purified and brought to Soul Society. After the meeting, a task force is being sent to the real world to investigate.

Ichigo and the others situated in the real world have yet to be notified about this disturbing turn of events, but they are also feeling that something is going on.

In Hueco Mundo:

Aizen is aware of this unprecedented event and is deeply intrigued. If he could discover how the Hollow managed to leave behind a trace of its power, perhaps he can find a way to open the Gates of Hell for his own purpose. With that he can raise a massive army of the most wicked Hollows from the depths of Hell and destroy Soul Society. For this purpose, he has dispatched a few people to capture this unknown entity.

The cold night air swept through the wooden room like a tidal wave. Laying down in my futon, I shiver from the icy wind as the darkness slowly engulfs the quiet night. Closing my eyes and trying my hardest to get to sleep proved to be a losing battle.

Sigh...looks like another sleepless night...

I push the sheets off of me and sit up to stare out the open doorway. Even at night, the Soul Society seemed full of life, with the lights of houses filling the view and lighting up the night sky. Lifting myself up, I head out onto the balcony, the freezing wooden floor sending a chill up my legs and all through my body. Staring out into the night, without even noticing, my thoughts change.

If only you were here, then I could go and see you. Maybe you could comfort me....even just a little....Captain Aizen.

The fluttering of a butterfly past my ear disrupts my thinking. The hell butterfly, as they were called, landed on the wooden railing in front of me, dropping a note and then flying away. Grabbing it quickly before it flew off from the wind, I flip it open and start to read.

All Captains and Lieutenants, please head to conference hall two immediately. Bring your Zanpakuto.

Captain Commander Yamamoto.

Bring your Zanpakuto? What could be going on?

Still in a state of bewilderment, I step back inside and grab Tobiume. I pull a pair of geta sandals out of the wardrobe and head out, sliding the door closed behind me.

((Senna))

Silence...complete silence of the cool night. A few light taps of a pen can be barely heard from behind a closed door. A thin sliver of light can be seen underneath.

Silence...pure silence...

...

"Ichigoooooooo!!!" I exclaimed as I burst through the door.

Ignoring his surprised expression, I walked in and sat down on his bed.

"Hmmm? Kuchiki-san is not around?" I asked inquisitively.

Looking over at Ichigo's annoyed face, I smiled and explained myself.

"Why are you so surprised? I could sense your leaking spiritual pressure from blocks away."

((Shunsui Kyouraku))

Walking with a questionable face, I can see the bright moon light trying to get in through a window, looking through that window a lot of shinigamis can be seen asking themselves what is happening and others reforcing soul society defense......

"Yare yare.......I wonder what's going on now......" I sighed as i look at different directions

"Nao-chan?...." No answer

"Nao-chan?" ...........Scratching my head I look at different directions again to see if I can see her, but no answer

"She must probably be waiting in the conference hall already"..........I think for an instant after I said that

"I'm gonna get yelled again...." I lowered my head as I continue walking to the conference hall

[Ely-chan]

The cicada's had begin to sing, filling the air with the sound of their endless harmonies. Folding my arms, I try to heat myself up as much as possible as I walked along the creaky boardwalk.

It certainly is cold tonight...

Rounding a corner, I see in the distance a rather short silhouette leaning against the balcony railing and staring off into the night. From this distance, I can't really tell who it could be...

"Hello? W-who's there?" I question the figure, holding my breath as it's shadow turns to face me. It's shadow soon runs up my legs and over my body.

"Momo?" said the familiar voice. The white haired figure stepped out of the darkness and into the burning torchlight.

"Toshiro, y-you scared me for a second there..." I say, letting out a sigh of relief. Captain Hitsugaya yawned, stretching his arms.

"...your walking to the conference by yourself?" He asks in a slightly concerned voice. Not really knowing how to reply, I just nod in return.

"Sigh....you know that's dangerous, right Momo?", Toshiro says while scratching his rather unembellished hair.

"I'll be fine Toshiro, don't worry..." was all I managed to get out before being cut off.

"That's Captain Hitsugaya, remember? Now, come on, let's get going." he exclaims before turning around and walking down the boardwalk.

"Y-yes." I reply, as I hurry a little to catch up with him. Walking side by side now, the shadow's of the boardwalk engulf our own as the chattering of conference hall two become ever more clear.

((Ichimaru Gin))

Appearing in the real World with a new mission from Aizen. Two Espada were send with me. It looks like Aizen is planning something big. Our goal is the shop from Urahara Kisuke.
Before he was send into exile he researched not only the Hollowfication rather the mystery of the door to hell.

The mission is easy the two espada witch has been send with me are here to start a diversionary tactic. If this tactic is a success I can search in Uraharas shop for the documents.
“It’s time to begin and one last advice from Aizen, keep an eye on the orange hair Shimigami.”
After these words the two separated in different directions.
Now I only have to wait. ^^

There I was awakened by all this commotion."Ahh!! What is going on out there?!" I ask myself. In a state of
anger and annoyance, I quickly get off my futon and head towards the door. As annoyed as I was I quickly
open up the door and yell out, "Can't you see people are trying to get some sleep here!" Curious and mad
as I was I didn't see anyone outside."Huh? I could have sworn I just heard people outside a while ago.
" I say to myself in a bewildered tone. Standing there confused I start to ponder about where everyone
could have ran off to. Then from afar I can see shinigamis heading towards the conference hall. They
seemed kind of anxious to get there. "I wonder what they're up to at this hour." Suddenly out of the corner of
my eye I spot something coming towards me. "Hmm I wonder what that is." I couldn't tell what it was
because it was coming from the shadows. As the small figure draws nearer to me I realize that
it's a Hell Butterfly."Wonder what this could be about." Quickly I grab it and begin to read.

All Captains and Lieutenants, please head to the conference hall immediately. Bring your
Zanpakuto with you.
Captain Commander Yamamoto.

"This is such a pain. Can't they just summon all captains. (Sigh)... Oh well I guess I have no other choice
but to go."Quickly, I go back inside to get my Zanpakuto. Then after I head out to the conference hall.

((Whoa, why does your post stretch the screen, Astro-kun?))

As I sat on Ichigo's bed, I took the time to examine the room. It was relatively plain, not very many things decorating the walls. There were a few things in the corner and on the desks, but otherwise it was very tidy and organized. I assumed that everything was stored in the large closet where Kuchiki-san used to hide.

"Your have a nice place. I can get used to living here." I noted to myself.

The comment seemed to have an impact on Ichigo, as his expression changed from his usual annoyance to surprise.

"Well, I have to stay somewhere. I'm not officially part of the Gotei 13 yet, so I do not belong to any squad. I will be staying in the real world until they sort that out. Your family has kindly allowed me to live here for the time being."

I placed the back of my hand on my forehead and pretended to faint. Then I began to narrate in a dramatic fashion.

"Oh...your family answered this sad girl's plea for help. Suffering from amnesia after an unfortunate accident, with no family and no one to turn to in this cruel world. The only person I could recall was a boy with orange hair who helped me before in my time of need."

I covered my face and acted like I was crying.

"I searched for this boy, finally arriving at your doorstep. Ahhh...I must be blessed to once again meet my savior and my only connection in this world."

I returned to my usual cheerful expression and smiled, speaking in my normal tone.

"And that's what happened. I must say, your family is really nice."

[Ely-chan]

"This is....the Seijoto Kyorin...where the 46 reside...

Why have you brought me here...Captain Ichimaru?" I question, slightly afraid of the what the answer was to come.

"Have you ever been here before...Momo?" Gin said while still walking ahead of me, his haori lifting in the air behind him.

"Of course not....this area is off limit's. I've never even seen it before." I reply. Captain Ichimaru walked up a flight of stairs, so I follow along behind him. The entry way at the top opened into a large open room, completely empty.

"There's someone I want you to see." he exclaimed, and in the tone said, he made it seem like I don't have a choice.

"S-someone you want me....to see?" I repeat questionably.

"That's right Momo.

Go on...look behind you." he exclaimed while turning to face me, wearing the smug grin that he always did.

"Behind...me?"

My entire body started to shake. What, or who, could be there? Toshiro? Toshiro....who....who killed Captain Aizen!

Slowly turning around, my eyes revealed to me what my heart had ached for. There, like some sort of ghostly enigma, he stood.

"Ca-Captain Aizen?"

"...How have you been, Momo?" My heart skipped a beat. Was he really there? Was it you, Captain?

'Is it...really you Captain Aizen? I-I thought you were dead..." I said with a glitter of hope, tears forming in my eyes.

"I'm alive, as you can see." I grab his haori, and pull myself close to him.

His body...his smell....it really was him!

"Our time together was a joy to me. Thank you Momo, thank you very much...

...Goodbye." was the last thing I heard him say. After that, I felt his blade pierce through my chest.

"Momo! Momo!"

I opened my eyes and found Toshiro clutching my shoulders, his face covered in sweat.

"Momo! What happened!?" he asked, a look of concern on his face.

"I-I....it's nothing, I'm fine." I reply as I brush him out of the way and continue on. The night was dark, and only one room was now lit up. I then feel somebody grab my shoulder.

"Momo..." he said, his voice gentle.

"I said I'm fine Toshiro...let's go."

Rather reluctantly, he nods.

"Thank you Toshiro."

"That's Captain Hitsugaya, did I not just tell you that five minutes ago?" Toshiro exclaimed, clearly getting irritated.

"Sorry....Captain Hitsugaya." I say, to which he sighs loudly. Without saying another word, we walk over to the sliding doorway with the faint torch light passing through. Toshiro slides the door open to reveal the room, already filled with most of the Lieutenant's and Captain's, seemingly restless and questioning why they were summoned at such a late hour.

"Thank you...for walking me Captain Hitsugaya." I say as I get ready to move to my designated seat.

"Don't mention it."

[Azu-Nyan]

((Hehe. I guess you can go ahead and start the meeting, Ely-chan. We can assume the others have already arrived.))

After amusing myself a little by annoying Ichigo, I gently laid back onto the bed. I stared at the white ceiling silently for a few minutes, before I spoke in a serious tone.

"Hey, Ichigo... I know this is not like me, but I have been getting a rather ominous feeling lately. Like something bad is about to happen..."

I turned my head slightly to look at Ichigo in the eyes.

"Do you know what I mean?"
