I haven't read many, but my favorite is Death Note. From what I've read so far, Karin (Chibi-Vampire) and Chobits are in a close second.

I can't really stay with a favorite manga because there are those that get better as time moves on. I must say Karin is good but the story of Negima! is getting interesting at the moment.
