I did like it, but stopped watching it because it was starting to turn me off. Don't really know why anymore since it was a while ago. I might just go back and finish watching the series though.

 My Huge Monster/Tentacle Hentai Rapidshare Collection! ^ Dead mainly. RIP ... *sob* ... might rebuild it again in the future. Until then, I might try and work on a "Guide to Monster/Tentacle Hentai" with info, images, connections, etc for h-anime to help the fans. Put my knowledge to use I guess, just need to get motivated! I watched the first episode a while ago and said F*** THIS
 because I thought Light was such an pompus ahole. But then adult swim started airing them and I gave them a second chance and now its one of my favorite animes. I'm looking forward to the next episode tomorrow! |

That's the magic of Death Note though I'd say ... the hero is in turn kind of the villian of the whole series. I thought that was kind of original.

It was excellent, but I feel that it should've ended when the conflict with L ended. The introduction of M and N was too sudden and made it look like the series was just trying to drag on

The death of L was a huge disappointment for me. After that I stopped watching the series for quite a while and even when I started watching it again I just looked at the screen, I didn't really paid any attention (thus, for about 10 episodes I don't even know what happened). I loved the ending as Light got what he deserved as from a fighter for justice became an obsessed self centered bastard . A bit disappointed though as they skipped a couple of scenes from the manga (Light has a conversation with Ryuk before he dies) but still I enjoyed it. As for some people that say that the ending was expected, I believe that they would have said the same thing even if Light won and killed everyone.
