I'm so sorry. but I think that Death Note is too long and his history ... I don't know, It's most popular but I don't like it, nothing interesting for me... i don't know why. My best friend love it and next week is her birhtday and my present is "the diary" for her.

I've only seen some on Adult Swim. Interesting to watch, just kinda dosen't make a whole lot of sense since I didn't see it from the beginning.
Then again, most anime would be confusing if you didn't watch it from the start. |

I find it interesting that although Near is the ultimate winner, he was actually the author's least favorite character, and in the final ending scene cut out from the anime, it's hinted that Near is using the Deathnote.

The author stated that light WAS the evil character and since he killed off l and mello, he had no other choice to make near win if he wanted an good ending
