Wait when the hell was Death Note licensed? I have been trying to find the English version but i just can't seem to stumble upon it. Anyone know where it is possible to get? Heard it is really good from a friend.

This one is good .....only in the beginning....after the half I think the story is not interesting anymore

Death Note is licensed by Viz Media. They subbed it for direct to drive while it was still coming out in Japan. (albeit slower than the fan subbing groups. 3 weeks < 1 week.) Now it is currently being dubbed in english and airs on adult swim at 12:00 AM on Saturdays.

I love Death Note that much to know all this. :P

I can't remember the dates but after episode 34, the news hit that death note was being licensed so all the fansubbers stopped subbing. I just remember my reaction when we couldn't see episode 35 and 36 but luckily someone subbed it =D

not sure how i feel about death note its not bad, or good but i cant stop watching it so im leaning towards good
