Filled with sculptures of female body parts the woman finds herself wanting nothing to do with such idol worship. However, after unsuccessfully attempting to escape the woman slowly develops a disturbing and tragic relationship with her captor. With a title like Blind Beast, the theme of abduction and a naked woman imprisoned throughout it’s difficult not to think of this film as the granddaddy of all Sexploitation films; yet if remains high on lists as being one of the more outstanding films ever. IMDB gives it a rating of 7.5 & the very reliable KungFu Cult Cinema website gives it a perfect 5/5 in all categories, Claustrophobic, intense with hardly a word spoken it really is an amazing film. More avante guarde than sexploitation, the film tantalizes to the extreme. Depressing as a film can be, yet riveting... it’s pretty much a must for film aficionados.
