Download community codec pack (cccp-project.net/), install and use the included media player classic to play. To load the subtitles just click on ‘File’ then ‘Load Subtitles…’ and select the ‘.ass’ file. Make sure to use VMR7 as your directshow video, go to View->Options->Playback->Output.
