I want to propose something, but hear me out first:

I got into hentai through a game, a long LONG time ago...the game was called Divi Dead.

The game was fantastic, I didn't even realize I started off with such a great game, I was literally spoiled by it. Over the years I have tried other hentai games but I just can't find the same perfect mixture of horror/tension/detective traits in one game, that pulls it off fantastically well, with MULTIPLE endings!

Every game I have tried, ever since Divi Dead, has been a disappointment. I have looked all over the web for the hint of a sequel, but it looks like the chances are next to nil.

I propose we use this thread to discuss Hentai Games in general. Everyone who has played a hentai game that you REALLY liked, post about it. No links to download it are required at all, just talk about the game.

With everyone's help, this might turn into a comprehensive recollection of the major titles within each preferred genre of hentai gaming.

P.S.: As a bonus, if anyone can recommend games along the lines of Divi Dead, that I end up liking, I shall certainly rep you :3

Well, while they're nothing like the game you mentioned, I'd suggest Crescendo or Snow Sakura for purely plot reasons. Snow Sakura is fairly light-hearted compared to a lot of the h-games out there, but the plot and characters are definitely grade-A, atleast as far as h-games can go.

Crescendo is a bit darker in all it's plots but each character is unique and quite honestly, by the time you play through each character's plot line you'll have developed a bit of an affinity for each one. I reccomend you play both solely on the merits of their characters and plots, these are NOT run of the mill.

As for a game that may come close to the one you mentioned...maybe the H20 Footprints in the Sand game. I know the anime has a DAMN good plot and it branches into psychological, comedy, romance, and supernatural. I've never played the game (and probably never will) but the anime is damn good.

Snow Sakura doesn't sound like my type of game. Crescendo sounds intriguing! And what's the exact title of the other game you mentioned? :O

Happiness (1 and if I remember re.lucks) <- only played the japanese version... Could not make anything clear of the lines of text although i could hear what they where saying for about 20% :P So basically I just clicked the random choices :P

It was one of the first hentai games that I came across. It has a low language barrier and an easy to understand story line. Not complicated at all :)

Well the most interesting part for this anime is that it runs in a hospital with nurses. The choises are great and after finishing each object you get the orgy. It was nice to run trough the game.

The downside is that it got boring after a while.

Then Exchange...

Exchange was the second hentai game I played (Exchange 2).

I liked the story lineup about a boy who turned into a girl. It is something that has been put in the perspective of a boy. It could be untrue to allot of girls how the scene develops. But I also liked to imagine that it would happen to me. What actions would I make.
That is the interesting part for me. The other part is that it is an easy to grasp storyline of a boys vision of becomming a girl... Sex sex sex... (most of this is in every hentai game... :P But as I said I like the story and not to forget the art.)

After playing around a few games I came across an intro to re.lucks. or also called happiness.

I was really interested in the hentai game after wachting the re.lucks opening. I have enjoyed the hentai game pretty good. It comes close to the sense of feeling that I have of Exchange3. Except that I do not understand anything of it. That is why it is in 3rd place.


When I find more hentai games I will post again :) I am an old fan of Hentai games :P I do not really like the 3D since it is not as well as the 2D in my opinion. Somethimes the dicks just fuck thin air :P

I started with True Love '95. :) It was a decent game, but probably I liked it only because I've never played something like that before.

Good H-games are hard to find. The first good H-game I've played was Kana ~Little Sister~. But it's more like a novel with a very limited control over the story. The story itself is very dramatic and sad, imo. And has a low amount of sex. A good review: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

I downloaded School Days, because it is said, it's a very good game, but I haven't played it yet.

Critical Point was another game, that I liked more or less.

I played all the X-Change games and The Sagara Family too. They were sometimes amusing, but that's all.

There are a few more games that I've played, but can't remember now... :)

Btw, the same goes for H-animes. There wasn't even one that was close to being good, imo. No, not even Bible Black.
Almost forgot Inyouchuu. xD For some reason I like that H-anime, but plot wise it's still very bad(?). I'm playing the game now, but can't give You an opinion yet.

I'm same as DDv. I started with true love 95. Then I play Dividead. (One of the best game I ever played.) After that I played some very bad H game and I stop H gaming for a while... I download alot of H game, but some I havent even touch it yet, just sitting in the disk collecting dust...

Don't have anything to recommend, as I haven't found a horror/suspense H game that surpass Dividead. (That reminds me, I feel like playing divi dead again)

Despite being a big hentai fan for a handful of years, I haven't played a lot of games myself.

I knew about Viper games way back in the day but didn't play any of them until recently, I played Viper RSR. The game itself looked like it was made with RPG Maker, but I liked how the animated scenes in it were smoother than the animated gifs (CG set). It was a really easy game and despite not knowing Japanese at all I went through it quickly and never died.

It's got monsters and rape though, so not sure if that's for everyone.

Then I recently played the Inyouchu game, which was okay. Did it for the CG though. It's a more typical hentai game where you just pick choices that effect the outcome of the game, so it's trial and error almost if you're like me and don't know Japanese. It's cool to hear music and sound though, and when you see the sex scenes you can review them at the main menu.

So yeah, I have yet to play a hentai game that really amazes me with actual gameplay or anything.
