RAR file help
hi i'm a little new to RAR file for things like games and such. and i was hopeing that maybe i could get a hand with these files. and i also was hopeing that someone could help me find some PSP ISO files because i keep downloading CSO files and i don't think i can play them.
ok thanks for the help u guys gave me. now i need some help with something else. i could use the English Patch for the Monster hunter 2nd G game. because the one i have won't show up. give me a hand plez. ok this should be the last thing i will need help with for a while. i noticed that there are games put into torrent form and i was wondering how do i open them and play them. every time i tried it sends me to internet explorer and freezes up. give me another hand plez Last edited by saber153; 10-28-2008 at 09:37 PM. Everything about .rar files is HERE. However, the ISO issue has everything to do with where you download games, so I cant help with that.

If your PSP has custom firmware / or you use loaders, then the games must be in CSO or ISO format.
ISO format = normal PSP game iso. CSO = compressed (to reduce loading times and save space) PSP game. You can also compress/uncompress your games. (ISO to CSO / CSO to ISO) RAR is for archiving and when you want to upload them. If you need any help with your PSP then PM me.  |

Use winrar or 7-zip to unrar the files.
If you have a rar wichs is split in multiple rar's you only have to extract one of them (I would use the first one wich has the .rar extension) Iso's are files that need to be burned to a cd or mounted with a program like Deamontools (google it) |

ok i'll keep looking into it. and my PSP dose have CFW thats the main reason i asked it. and when it come to RAR file i have winRAR i'm just not that good with some PC programs and softwares. i also have daemon tools but i'm not that sure how to use them yet. and thanks Mr_Mephisto i'll take a look at it later.

You don't need to burn, open, mount PSP games. Simply copy them to your memory stick to ISO folder. That's it. Computer game ISO's however require mounting and later cracking. |
