Avi converter
Anyone know a good Avi converter that convert some popular format to avi without losing quality or lose A LITTLE?

there is SUPER © by erightsoft which is free, easy to use and you can set the quality of your video, only thing i dont like about it is that they tag the video info..

Qonvert is best to covert anytype to 3gp but u do not in put RMVB or RM files.

Personally i use Winavi it does the job fine but its not free

- MediaCoder - AutoGK (AutoGordianKnot) SUPER is just roughly an interface for all the underlying softs. Easy enough to deal with it. AutoGK automatically performs some calculations to find the optimal quality compared to the filesize you specify (680 megabytes for example). You can also enforce usage of a specific resolution. The same procedures of AutoGK can be done with a couple softs (virtualdub, avisynth, dgindex, xvid, some scripts, but its generally too timeconsuming for anyone less than experienced with that to even attempt). Same with SUPER, especially with Mencoder. Automation is the best. Alltoavi requires colorspace conversions to be done even before reencoding, so even if video is saved lossless, you still lose color precision (most visible in the close range to the darks, which generally do not stay fully dark) Last edited by LeadCrow; 06-01-2008 at 11:50 AM. |
