Heya, i've been wondering a few things about the reputation system from a long time, i guess it's about time i ask them.

I have seen around many people giving out more than 200+ reputation points while some can only give 3 or 4 points, and while i was reading [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] i've come to realize that the reputation system has been changed recently to give out the maximum number of points we have, so here's what i'm trying to ask:

how much can i give out to a single person? and what's the limit of the reputation points i can give out in one day? from what i have figured out from looking around is that you give out more rep points depending on the post counts you have, or it could be the number of reputation points you have if it's not the the post counts. (it's just a theory of mine, correct me if i'm wrong :P ) plus, is there a way to find out how much +rep points i am allowed to give or how much rep point i have left for today?

P.S: wow this post nearly looks as badass as a math test paper.

Rep points dont think it has much to do with posts as ive sometimes got more rep from ppl with less posts than others who have repped me. so the more rep u have the more u can rep others. but im not sure how or even if theres a way to see how much rep u have or can give?

if im nt wrong u can rep some1 3 times a day...but u can only rep the same ppl again after 1 day...correct me if i'm wrong...

The only way I know for certain is to get someone who already knows how much they have, and give them the max amount, and have them subtract the difference XD. But the more thread you have, the more you can give at a time, but theres a certain number of times per day you can give it out

@ Bestie: well i never expected there to be a way to check how much reputation points we can give out, i asked it since i was asking many questions already :P

what i really want to know is the certain ammount of rep points we can give in one day.

@Pangary: hmm it could be about the max time you could rep, because i was empty after 3 rep i guess :/ and about the post you linked to, i don't think it's been edited after the new reputation system.

EDIT: @Tsunaru: ok, finally got that one after reading it a few times, so should we try it? :P

Alright, lets say you were to rep me, someone with 2842. And lets say hypothetically that it took me to.. 2875. You'd take 2875-2842, and get 33. Thats how much the max rep you can give at a single time

@Pangary: I think you're right about the 3 times a day, but you have to rep 5 other people before you can rep the same person again

There was thread like this and from it if remember correctly
every 250 posts adds 1 rep power,
and every 50 rep point's adds 1 rep power,
e.g. i have 4230 posts so from it i have ~17 rep power + i have 2042 rep points and
from this ~ 40 rep power so i have 57 rep power which means i can give max 57 rep points.
