Ok, so I'm going to download, PC - Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition [English], and was wondering if anyone has already downloaded it, can they help me as to what to do? I.E. It's not cracked and needs a CD. And what do I do after downloading it.

Any indepth help which allows me to actually play the game will get +rep.

i think you should select all then extract files all of it at once..

Did you rename the files or their names were like this?
If you didn't then use either hjsplit or 001FILESPLITJOIN (do not use winrar)

after this the extension sould be either ISO or mds&mdf (if the resultant file was .rar thn use winrar to extract it to have the mentioned extensions)

when you achieve this you can either burn it to blank DVD (nero or alcohol 120%) or use it by daemoon tool

Regarding .r00 Extensions

For the .r01 . . . etc and so on, you can use [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]to extract it after you download. I've a few files with .r01 extensions and I use WinRAR to extract them. As you can see from the icon it's a WinRAR icon.

Just click your unl.dmc3se.r00 and extract the folder/contents inside to anywhere you want.

If it's a mds/mdf/iso extension after you extract. Use [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] or [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] to Mount and install.

For the Crack you can use this.

Not sure which is your version, but I'll provide all Cracks Link in case your download is already pre-Patched.

Be sure to back-up your original.exe in case it doesn't work.

Let the torrent finish downloading and then extract it from the first file (Usually it's r00). After that, you should have what's called an .iso file. Use a tool like Daemon or Alcohol 120% to mount it, and the installer should come up. Always have Daemon or Aclohol 120% on when you're playing though, or it won't play.

As a note on the actual game, You really can't play this without a gamepad. The PC controls suck and adjusting them is another story. Also I recommend downloading the 1.30 patch afterwards (not the No-cd crack the actual patch) because the game will look like s**t if you don't. I bought this game for the PC, was awfully dissapointed on how much it sucked, and bought the PS2 version of the game, which looks way better and no glitches whatsoever. If you have a PS2 that's the version I'd recommend to anyone.

Other than that, fun game. I remember when the first version of it came out, and how many gamers complained about how hard it was...silly gamers. Try playing on Dante Must Die mode. I want to see how much they whine then.

I am afraid I disagree with you my friend, true winrar CAN open the files but it is not preferable (for mkv files and games) because
1-Not all the compressed files may appear
2-it will consume double (sometimes triple) the size of the original volume in the hard disk (in both the existing folder and temp folder)

001 is safer and faster
