Signature size check
Hi,
I'm new and I have read the forum rules and everything else needed to play nice. With signature sizes it states 500+ for width, I just wanted to make sure what is a reasonable size limit, just in any case if I were to go over. WoobiE |

The largest the signature should be is 500 x 250 pixels. A typical size is 300 x 100 pixels.

No, but don't make it much over. I don't think it will be detrimental if it is 520 pixels. But there is no real need to be longer than that. Just shrink the render down a little more to fit the signature, don't fit the signature to the render.

Ok then, I just wanted to make sure. This is because I already have a signature made that I often use for other forums. Its size is 587x150. Of course every forum is different so thats all. I'll just shrink mine then.

Yeah, I've noticed a few people popping up with enormous sigs lately... I think if you see one, you should notify a mod/admin, though I'm not sure whether it would be best to PM them or use the 'Report!' button.

Use a PM, the "report post" function is for fast reporting abusive threads, spammers, or other threads / posts that are unacceptable for the forum.
As far as I know, Christie and I both keep our PM's open and will receive it as soon as we log on anyway. In the PM to make it easier, plz include the link to the users profile so we can just click it and go immediately there. A "report post" means to me that I've either got a troll, a spammer, or worse... thanks, -peacock- |
