at the beginning.there's a boy named (boy's name,but let's call him 'Yuuki for now').at school,he's just your ordinary school kid with a hair down to the shoulder and glasses.but when the school ended his true nature shows up(of course his appearance too.he'll tie his hair and put off his glasses).his true nature is the complete opposite from his act at school.kind of like a gangster,but not much.to sum it up.he's hot-blooded and likes to fight.extremely fight,easy-going,etc.

one day when he's coming home from school.a bunch of hoodlums surround him and they're fighting at the nearby park.he easyly defeat them.when he wants to go home,he noticed something dragon-like about 1 metre tall turning at the corner(well,of course it's a dragon,not just dragon-like).he chased it and it really is a dragon.

with a child-like excitement,he chalenged the dragon because all he knows is that dragon is strong.but after he hit the dragon for the first time,the dragon passed-out and the boy become panicked.

when the dragon has woke-up.out of nowhere,the dragon says to him, "PLEASE BE MY MASTER".and the boy demands an Explanation(well.you all know the explanation right??).after that,the boy reject it.

full of confusion.the dragon asked why.he replied with "well,after i fought you,i realized that dragon is weak,and i don't have any interest with weaklings".suddenly,the dragon become pale.and he explained that not all dragon is weak.it's just him only. with that,yuuki accepted and they tell each others name

when the boy accept.the pledge is made when the boy said "I, Yuuki, accept (dragon's name,for now,let's call him VAN for now) as my servant partner in BRANCE game.and will make him the king for ryuujinshi with all my might".and van said "I, Van, accept Yuuki as my Master partner in BRANCE game.and will pledge my loyalty to him till BRANCE ended"

not too long after that,the strongest candidate for BRANCE shows up and the battle begins.we'll add some sentimental feeling here.like how they're losing at first and van regret coz he can't do nothing and yuuki encouraged him,etc.

in the end they won.after this,we'll write '1,5 year later' and they almost defeat all of the candidate.here,van ask yuuki why he acts differently at school and outside school.van said it's because when he's in mid school,he acts like who he was,but the other student is afraid of him,so he changed.

after that,the last enemies shows up and they defeat it,when Van is departing,he thanked yuuki.thanks to yuuki,he become strong.and van also ask yuuki to be honest with himself.after the departing,yuuki tried to act normally at school.but the other students isn't afraid because he has learned compassion,friendship,etc from van.
