Yay, finally someone who agrees with me!
Actually, a contributing factor may be that my PC is kind of low-spec by today's standards (512MB RAM...), and that's why Firefox's memory guzzling can be a pain. There's also the point that some of the things that you need addons for with Firefox are built in to Opera. Ad blocking? Torrent client? IRC client? IMAP e-mail manager? No downloads necessary. There's even some kind of HTML/JS/CSS debugger thing. Also, I think I may have fallen in love with Opera-tan... she's so sophisticated. <3 There doesn't seem to be a set design for Firefox-tan (or Firefox-ko, whatever she's called), and IE-tan has been drawn all of about 20 times in the whole world...  Of course, a lot of sites are made specifically to cater to the idiosyncrasies of IE and Firefox, so using Opera can sometimes yield unreliable results. Fortunately it's not often that it actually causes problems, but in those cases I use IE7. It's so laggy, but since I can't get rid of it anyway, I may as well use it. Also, Firefox doesn't support MHTML files... (at least not when I had it) I also use IE when Googling around for more "questionable" things, but this is only because of the AVG toolbar that checks if search engine results are safe to use. I am currently searching for Madou Monogatari [魔導物語] games for MSX2, PC-88, PC Engine CD, and Windows/MS-DOS. Contact me if you can help. +rep will be available, meagre though it may be.

Firefox 3, its mainly the addons that make it worth it. Otherwise I think I might have switched to Opera.

=3 I, too, loved how there were lots of clients built in with Opera. I've had moments where Opera wouldn't do frames well but it's more than easy to fix, and the clients make it so much more workable.
