Jung Typology Test (not your average personality test)

Here is a real test that give significant results and insight into your core personality. This test was formulated by Carl Jung (succor to Sigmund Freud) and Isabel Myers-Briggs to chart the 16 major personality types and degrees of which that person manifests the given personality. The criteria (called Temperaments) is based on this:

Extroversion - Introversion

Sensing - INtuition

Thinking - Feeling

Judging - Perceiving

Also known as the Mbti (Myers-Briggs Typology Indicator) test, the test will give you a result of four letters and a percentage corresponding to each of the four Temperaments. For example, if a person scored 100% in Extroversion, it means that in any given situation, 99.9999% of the time that person will behave like an extrovert as opposed to an introvert. However, if a person scores say, 20% Extroversion, there is a noticeable dominance in that person's personality, but there is also a strong introvert side underneath. This introversion still plays a role in the greater personality, but it is slightly more passive than in a case where a person scores, say, 60% Extroversion. Finally, a Extroversion score near 0% (nearly impossible), means that in any given situation, it is a 50/50 chance that they will behave either way.

This is why this test is so complex and thorough. Not only does it give you a basic personality type, but the degrees to which it coincides to your true nature.

Given how low I scored in Feeling, it's a good idea for me to look at its counterpart, Thinking, and look at the results for INTJ in addition to INFJ. Indeed, I found that I lie somewhere between INFJ, (the Counselor), and INTJ (the Strategist), though I have to admit, INFJ tends to take the lead with me. Only those who score around 10% in one of the Temperaments have to do this. If you have 20% or more, you don't have to do that.

Often, if you take the test, read through the descriptions to familiarize yourself with the system, then take it again, the test becomes more accurate. Also, familiarizing yourself with the questions so that you understand them thoroughly and answering them honestly with what actually do in those circumstances, rather that what you would like to do, with yield more accurate results.
