Help! Skin-related, much thanks to repliers.
Alright, before I begin I'd like to apologise for my utter lack of posting but I've been busy at university and stuff, so yeah, but I quit a few other forums and so now I'm hear.
Anyway, I'm eighteen years old and I still suffer from acne, mildly I admit but it isn't so good for confidence and I've tried a lot of products but they generally haven't worked for me. Basically I'd like to ask if anyone else has tried this product, and if it is effective... [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] In any case, could people direct to products they personally found useful if not this? Thank you all very much. |

Never heard of it.
I've tried using my friend's Differin and the stuff actually seems to have made it worse a little (supposed to get worse before it gets better) but my acne wasn't that bad that it seemed worth it to make it that worse to make it better. Still seems to be effecting me months later but hopefully over time it'll just go away completely. Things like this take time and somethings work for some and not others. Really hit and miss. |

Re: Help! Skin-related, much thanks to repliers.
I use salicylic acid-based products and then once my skin starts clearing up, I use them once a day instead of twice, to wean off the dependency. It works well enough...at least, for me. Try not to use anything too strong. Some products, like Proactive, are such that you have to continue buying them or you break out badly.
Your best bet is seeing a dermatologist 'cause (s)he'll be able to recommend something ideal for your skin type. Good luck. - <3 C.K.

reviving an old thread because i think this might help the op.
use a soap called "acne-aid" it works wonders. although it can leave your skin dry. also, dont pluck or pop your pimples. 1. its gross. 2. its unhealthy. and 3. theyll leave some bad scars that will stick around for a long time. |
